Continuously collects evidence for compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) to reduce manual audit-prep effort. Most-used open-source equivalent is Prowler (generates CIS/compliance-framework findings across AWS) combined with Steampipe's compliance mods (SQL-queryable evidence gathering across resources) — together cover most of Audit Manager's automated-evidence role.
