Amazon EKS Anywhere

Deployment option for creating and operating Kubernetes clusters on customer-managed infrastructure, using the EKS operational experience. Since it's a distribution of upstream Kubernetes, the direct open-source path is self-managed Kubernetes via kubeadm, or a lighter-weight distro like RKE2/k3s — same orchestration engine, without the EKS-branded tooling and support contract.
