AWS Outposts
Extends AWS infrastructure and APIs to on-premises or co-location facilities, for workloads needing local low-latency processing or data residency. No open-source tool replicates AWS's own managed hardware/API extension; the closest OSS path to a similar hybrid outcome is running OpenStack as a self-managed private cloud with a consistent API layer on-prem, though it doesn't share AWS's control plane the way Outposts does.
